When I was a toddler, I was exposed to a lot of cartoons and videogames (more specifically Nintendo games) and wanted to draw the characters I saw in the shows and games. Which pretty much inspired me to become an artist. As years went by, drawing became my favorite hobby. In the back of my mind, I knew I wanted to become some sort of paid artist in the future, but wasn't sure on what path to take. More years went by, and by the time I was in middle school, I spent more time focusing on my reputation rather than trying to improve my art. Luckily, after freshman year of high school, I stopped caring about having a reputation and decided to focus on what makes me happy, which is drawing. I feel because of that identity crisis I was having throughout middle school and the beginning of high school, my current art skills has suffered. That realization has given me the determination to improve the skills I currently possess, to learn new art styles/techniques, and keep an open mind.
